Sharvari Patki is Program Head, Electric Mobility with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Here, she is responsible for organization’s engagement in freight projects including freight electrification efforts. She is also engaged in efforts for comprehensive and easily accessible, electrical charging infrastructure, which will facilitate faster adoption electric vehicles.

With professional experience at the intersection of policy research with project management and project delivery, Sharvari’s work includes efforts for forming collaborative efforts between academia, industry, and policy makers in areas critical for development of electric vehicle ecosystem in India.

Before joining WRI India, Sharvari worked in Engineering Consultancy, leading real estate developers in India for engineering design and master planning of residential and commercial developmental projects. She has also been actively involved in process standardization, strategic cost optimization initiatives.

Sharvari holds a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University, and a master’s in Energy Systems Engineering from IIT Bombay, India. Besides being an Indian music afficionado, she also holds a keen interest teaching.
