With over eight years of experience, Faraz has anchored several projects - such as electrification, public transport planning, non-motorised transport initiatives, and parking management at the state and city levels. In his role, he is working closely with the private sector, including private bus operators, OEMs, NBFCs and the three-wheelers, to identify the impediments and accelerate the electrification of this sector. He is currently guiding states and cities in transitioning to cleaner, sustainable mobility through regulatory and infrastructural reforms. Additionally, he has held the fort for coordinating and guiding over 100 cities under the Transpor4All Challenge in identifying problem statements through in-depth surveys and FGDs. Faraz holds a Master’s in Infrastructure Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the National Institute for Technology, Patna.
