Aravind Prasad is the Head of the Charging Infrastructure and Accessories and Merchandise business of Ather Energy. He is responsible for the business P&L, overseeing business strategy, network expansion, infrastructure deployment, network management, and stakeholder engagement.
Aravind is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business and Purdue University. He started his career with Lutron Electronics (USA), developing home automation systems. He then moved to India to work as a Fellow with Teach For India, where he taught grade 4 and grade 5 in a corporation school. He led Government Relations and Advocacy with Central Square Foundation, where he got the opportunity to work on systemic school education reform with the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
During his tenure at Ather Energy, Aravind led the 450X Gen 2 product development and went on to build and head the Program Management function, responsible for cross-functional execution across various business units. His experience in working on diverse complex problem statements along with his context of the organization internally makes him well poised to lead the organization.
