Rubin Pather is the Chief Operations Officer of Jiobp pulse, leading a dynamic team in building one of the largest CPOs in support of accelerating the decarbonisation of India. Rubin has over 30 years in the energy sector in operations and business development. He has been with bp plc for 26 years in various leadership roles in the downstream sector covering engineering, fuels, convenience, energy trading and lubricants operations. He has worked across a wide geography: Africa (15 years), Europe (9 years), Asia (8 years).
Rubin is a civil engineer, with a Masters degree from Texas A&M University. In addition, he has a master’s degree in economics from Stellenbosch University and a PhD from the University of South Australia. He has also completed the Executive Program in Operations Management at MIT.
