A tech-enabled third-party logistics service provider that is making hyperlocal ‘green-mile’ deliveries using EV fleets, and thereby driving forward the green movement in India’s logistics and last-mile delivery ecosystem with its superlative, environmentally-friendly mobility and logistics-tech solutions. He is an ardent and hard-working young entrepreneur who believes in challenging the status quo, and is committed to push our country’s last-mile logistics space towards cleaner and greener mobility.
Prateek, who was born and raised in Delhi-NCR, comes from a modest business family background – wherein his family members have been associated with the logistics and fleet industry for over 35 years now. On the academic front, he has completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Mechanical Engineering from ITM University - Gurgaon, as well as his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. Being associated with multiple family businesses since his young age, Prateek acquired nearly a decade of exposure in the logistics sector in India, leading teams across geographies to deliver exceptional results, while working with and for marquee clients such as Gati, SafeExpress, RIVIGO, TCI, etc. and OEMs like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, etc. In parallel, he also successfully developed his own acumen and excellence in terms of strategic planning, business development and supply chain optimization, alongside a strong core forte in fleet management and allied areas.
Being a second-generation entrepreneur in his family, Prateek always had the urge as to start something of his own and thus be self-made and independent. To this end, he was able to get the right set of exposure, knowledge and learnings while working at and leading from the front a few of his family-run businesses such as Haryana Cold Retreats Pvt. Ltd. and Intech, which in turn eventually instilled in him the confidence and zeal to move forward in order to achieve his goal of starting-up his own venture. As Prateek was always passionate towards the logistics space, but was simultaneously conscious in his approach of bringing to the fore new-age, sustainable and carbon- neutral solutions to the industry, he prudently decided to combine all of those aspects when venturing to introduce Zyngo EV Mobility in January 2020.
